This DVD contains step by step instruction based on David’s original painting “Winter Cottages”. David will take you step by step through drawing out your cottages in pencil, laying on the first washes of colour, painting the buildings and dry stone walls through to completion in a friendly and jargon free way.

There is in depth information on the brushes, paint, paper and most importantly the techniques used to complete the finished painting.

The paint colours used in this demonstration are as follows
Ultramarine Blue. Burnt Sienna. Alizarin Crimson. Burnt Umber. Yellow Ochre. Light Red

Having the exact brush size/make is not imperative however it will help you to follow the instruction more closely. Although this DVD deals with the start to finish completion of the picture "Winter Cottages" all the techniques used are traditional watercolour methods that can be used later on future projects of your own
